Sub-series consists of rough copies of minutes from the meetings of the Governor and Committee, which were known as "foul" copies. From these draft copies, the official or "fair" copies of minutes were created. Minutes may vary in detail from fair copies. Records are arranged chronologically. |

Restrictions on Access |
|
Minutes of the HBC and its subsidiaries are subject to a 15 year rule. Access is restricted until 15 years after the records were created. Special permission to view the records must be granted by HBCA. Some original records have been withdrawn, and must be viewed on microfilm. |
