Scope and Content 

 

Fonds consists of legal case files, legal records and correspondence including letter books, journals and financial records. Records also personal correspondence, genealogical correspondence, and newspaper clippings about his wife and the Dubuc family, and photographs of the Boswell, Dubuc and Coupal families. Fonds also includes records relating to Boswell's sporting interests, and his First World War military service with the Winnipeg Rifles including training publications and notes, military correspondence, orders, and field messages, photographs, and trench maps of France, Germany and Belgium.

Clarence Montague Boswell (1876-1965) was a Winnipeg lawyer who served overseas with the Winnipeg Rifles during the First World War.
