Administrative History 

The Royal Commission to Enquire into and Report upon the Causes and Effects of the General Strike which Recently Existed in the City of Winnipeg for a Period of Six Weeks, Including the Methods of Calling and Carrying on Such Strike was established to investigate the Winnipeg General Strike.

The royal commission was established in July 1919 and H. A. Robson, K. C. was appointed as the commissioner. Open sittings were held in July, August and September 1919 and the final report was submitted by H. A. Robson on 6 November 1919.
