The film was produced for the Bureau of Industrial Development and was circulated through the home economists of the Department of Agriculture Extension Service. According to the Annual Report, the film was "especially popular with women's groups." See Department of Industry and Commerce Annual Report, 1958.
The film promotes the fashion industry in Manitoba and shows the process of designing and creating a garment. A significant portion of the film is a fashion show, displaying made-in-Manitoba designs. This film has been digitized and is available on the Archives' online exhibit, Streaming from the Archives.
