Scope and Content

Series consists of records documenting the total quantities of each kind of fur or produce offered in the Hudson's Bay Company's catalogues. Catalogues were produced for each public sale, with several sales generally held in a year. In addition to totals of the products offered in the catalogues, the summaries also provide invoice quantities and quantities arrived at after goods were received and tallied in London. The series also includes a grading book for March sales in the late nineteenth century.
